Eddy Current Crane Boom Inspection
RAI were recently given the opportunity to supply Rope Access Eddy Current technicians to Marlin Offshore / DCD-Dorbyl for the inspection of a new crane boom section, fabricated by DCD-Dorbyl. The work scope was 100% eddy current after load test was completed on practically the entire crane boom. Building Signage Job
On the 24th Dec 2009, RAI got the perfect wind gap, to go and replace a vinyl pocket and bar sign on a building in Cape Town City Center. The old sign had to be removed, folded and lowered to the platform, this posed a bit of a problem as (due to sun damage) the sign was quite stiff and not easily manageable. FSO Escravos
RAI team members recently helped another rope access company with the hook up of a towing bridle to the FSO Escravos in Cape Town dry dock, and then another hook up for the tow out.
